Departments can apply for office space in the Federal Government Complex Building when there is vacancy by filling out a form that can be obtained from the website www.bph.gov.my and submitting it to the Building Manager with a justification for the application that contains:

• Reason for the application.
• Current office location.
• Number of existing positions and position grades.
• Size of existing space.
• Number of new/additional positions and position grades.
• Size of space requested.
• Issues faced.

Approval for the allocation of office space in the Federal Government Complex Building will be made by the Office Space Committee, Prime Minister's Department.

Departments need to apply for approval for renovation works in the Federal Government Complex Building through the Building Manager by filling out a form that can be obtained from www.bph.gov.my and attaching the following documents:

• Copy of the plan.
• Scope of the work to be carried out.
• Attachment A that has been approved by the Security Officer if it involves air conditioning installation.
• Approval from the Local JKR if it involves technical work.
• Approval from the Chief Government Security Officer (CGSO) if it involves the installation of CCTV and safe rooms.
• Approval from the Fire and Rescue Department if required.

Approval for renovation works in the office space in the Federal Government Complex Building will be issued by the Property Management Division, Prime Minister's Department.

Departments are not allowed to carry out renovation works without approval from the Property Management Division, Prime Minister's Department.

Departments are not allowed to take over space without approval from the Property Management Division, Prime Minister's Department.
